A damaged vehicle tow
This owner-provided photo shows a damaged sedan prepared for wheel-lift towing. Damage, wheel position and access can change the equipment needed.

People and traffic safety come first
After a collision, call 911 for injuries, fire or immediate danger. Follow police and emergency responders’ directions. Once the scene is safe and the vehicle can be released for transport, contact Rick’s to discuss accident towing.
Do not drive a visibly damaged vehicle merely because the engine starts. Tell the operator about leaks, damaged wheels, deployed airbags, steering problems and anything that may make loading unsafe.
What Rick’s needs to assess an accident tow
Share the year, make and model, drivetrain, exact location and intended body shop or repair destination. Explain whether the car rolls and steers, whether keys are available and whether access is controlled by responders.
Rick’s uses light-duty wheel-lift equipment. Collision damage can make a vehicle unsuitable for that setup; compatibility must be assessed. Rick’s does not offer flatbed or heavy-duty towing.
A real service photo

Destination and payment questions
Confirm the body shop or repair facility’s receiving instructions, especially after hours. If you intend to use an insurance or roadside benefit, contact the provider about authorization and payment before arranging independent service. Rick’s cannot promise coverage, reimbursement or direct billing on this page.
Ask what the quote includes and what changed conditions could affect it. Share any recovery requirements before agreeing to a tow.
Questions before arranging help
Can Rick’s take my damaged car to my chosen shop?
Discuss the address, receiving hours, vehicle condition and scene access. Transport depends on equipment suitability and availability; confirm it before service is arranged.
Should I call Rick’s or 911 first?
Call 911 first for injuries, fire, traffic danger or another emergency. A towing request is separate from emergency response; follow responders’ directions.
Need accident towing after the scene is safe?
Call with your exact location and vehicle details. Confirm service suitability, price and the current arrival estimate.
